DMS In-System Support App
The DMS Support Portal is now built directly into your Odoo. Your team opens it the same way they open any other app, signed in as themselves. There are no invitations to accept and no separate account to set up — the first time someone opens it, their portal access is created for them.
The part worth knowing about: you control who gets in and what they can see, from your own user list. You don't have to ask us.
Opening the portal
No new link to bookmark and no password to hand out.
- Sign in to your Odoo as you normally would.
- Open the Apps menu — the grid icon at the top left.
- Choose
DMS Support, sitting alongside your other apps.
If someone doesn't see the app, they haven't been given a support level yet. Section 03 covers how to set one.
What your team can do in it
How much of this each person sees depends on their level — see the table in section 03.
Setting someone's access level
This is done entirely in your Odoo, by anyone who can manage your users.
- Go to
Settings › Users & Companies › Usersand click the person you want to change. - In their access rights, find the Services group.
- Set
DMS Supportto User, Manager or Admin. Choosing No removes their portal access. - Save. The change applies the next time that person opens the portal — nothing needs to be sent to us.
The three levels

You stay in control
Your user list is the source of truth. Raise someone to Manager, drop them back to User, or switch them off entirely — whatever you set is what they get, and you never need to send us a request.
People who leave are handled the same way: switch off their Odoo user and their portal access goes with it. And because everyone signs in from your own Odoo, there is no second set of passwords for you to keep track of.
Please keep in mind that granting a user access to the Support Portal gives them permission to create support tickets and request work on your project. Any time spent addressing these requests may result in billable hours.
We recommend only granting portal access to users who are authorized to request work and incur billable time on your behalf.
Questions, or a level that doesn't fit?
Submit a ticket from the portal, or email support@dreammtn.services and we'll sort it out. If the three levels don't match how your team is organized, tell us how it should work — we'd rather fix that than have you work around it.
