Barcode Scanner Device Setup

Zebra Devices (with DataWedge)

1. Open Datawedge App
2. Edit or Create a new profile
3. Open the Profile and set the following:
4. 1. Find the Applications > Associated Apps option:
   2. 1. 
      2. Click on the 3 Dots in the upper right and select “New app/activity”
      3. Find the one that says com.android.chrome and select it.
   3. Find the Keystoke Output section and ensure it is enabled
   4. 1. 
      2. Under the Keystock output section look for the “Basic Data Formatting” option and ensure it is set like the following
      3. 
   5. Make sure the Odoo app and/or all browser apps are completely closed (a reboot may be required)
   6. Then reopen the Odoo app and test a barcode scan

Munbyn Device (with InfoWedge app)

1. Open the InfoWedge app and edit or create a new profile (I just edited the default profile)
2. Find Keystoke output section and ensure it is enabled
3. 1. Also make sure the keystroke type = Simulate keystroke
   2. 1. 
   3. Under the Barcode process section, open the "Basic data formatting” option
   4. 1. Make sure it is enabled and send ENTER key is selected
      2. 1. 
   5. Close all apps and reboot the device. Test with Odoo app to ensure everything scans.
