Stride Delivery BOL lets you create a Bill of Lading (BOL) document directly from an internal warehouse transfer or delivery. A BOL is a legally required document for freight shipments that details what is being shipped, by whom, to whom, and under what terms.

- **Inventory → Operations → Transfers** → open an internal transfer → **Create BOL** button

1. Open a transfer record in Inventory.

2. Click **Create BOL**.

3. A new Bill of Lading form opens pre-linked to the transfer.

Complete the following sections:

**Carrier & Shipment Details**

- **Carrier** — Select the freight carrier.

- **Handling Units** — Enter the number of pallets, boxes, or other units.

- **Packaging** — Describe the packaging type.

- **Weight** — Enter the total shipment weight.

- **NMFC Number / Class** — Enter the freight classification codes provided by your carrier.

**Freight Terms**

- **Freight Charges** — Select: *Prepaid* (shipper pays), *Collect* (receiver pays), or *Third Party* (billed elsewhere).

- **FOB** — Indicate the point where ownership and risk transfer.

**Customer Orders / Packages**

- Link one or more customer orders or packages to this BOL. Each line can have its own weight and package count.

**Special Instructions**

- Add any handling or delivery notes for the carrier.

If the BOL consolidates five or more individual shipments, Odoo will automatically flag it as a **Master BOL**.

1. Click **Print** on the BOL record.

2. A formatted PDF is generated with all shipment details, carrier information, and your company branding.

- On any transfer that has a BOL attached, a **Bill of Lading** stat button (count badge) appears at the top of the form.

- Click it to open the linked BOL(s).
